The Atlantis Story

As First Officer of the undersea exploration ship Nautilus, you have been chosen to lead a dive team to investigate some
mysterious Obelisks scattered among the coral surrounding a sunken volcano 50 leagues off the Gold Coast of West
Africa.

As you approach the obelisks, you realize they are covered in ancient runes. It's a code, and through a lucky guess you unlock the code to energize the obelisks, which turn out to be the source of power for the lost city of Atlantis.

To your amazement, a giant dome rises from the cone of the volcano. Within it, you see the fabled city awash in a ghostly glow. A lone mermaid approaches. She is Elysia, princess of Atlantis, and she seeks your help.
Deep in the enchanted tunnels beneath the city, the MerKing and much of the city's treasure has been lost for millennia, imprisoned by an evil sea-witch who set traps and left the Kraken to guard the treasure. If you can help Elysia find her father in the underground labyrinth, all the treasure you find will be yours to keep.

Your objective is to explore as many chambers as possible to collect as much gold as you can before you are buried alive, poisoned by gas or find Clementine to end the game. When moving from chamber to chamber, you can pick any shaft except the one you entered through. The useful items can help you dissipate the gas or blast out of a cave-in. If you find the Giant Nugget, all gold collected to that point will be doubled. If you come across the Mother Lode, all gold collected to that point will be quadrupled!
